ECM S-Automatik 64: The Introduction
As a coffee aficionado, your day won’t be valuable if you won’t be able to take a sip of your favorite coffee. Newsflash: I’m like you and as of late, I’m having some sort of reflection: “Why am I settling for that average taste of pre-bought or instant grounds?” Because of this, I decided to go online and search for that elusive coffee or bean espresso grinder. Through my painstaking (and enjoyable) search, I encountered several brands that seemed good options, but one brand got my attention: the ECM S-Automatik Electronic Bean Espresso Grind. Let’s cut the fuss and find out what this coffee machine is all about.
ECM S-Automatik 64: Key Features
Imagine this: You wake up in the morning and you’re yearning for your coffee to perk you up, but upon reaching your espresso grinder, you can’t figure out the timer and since you’re running late, you decided to skip your coffee and you ended up being cranky throughout the day. Well, if this is your dilemma, rest assured that this won’t be a cause of concern if you’ll go for the S-Automatik 64 because it comes with an easy-to-program timer that can be adjusted to suit your needs and preference.
Stainless steel burrs and frames
Stainless steel is tough, rust-resistant and basically indestructible. This means that by a going for the said bean espresso grinder, you’ll avail something that will last for a very long time and will look aesthetically appealing–something that and can complement your kitchen design–regardless of its theme.
Vented frame for improved heat release
The S-Automatik 64 comes with a vented frame that boosts the heat release capabilities of its motor. By preventing unnecessary heat from accumulating, you can make sure that your espresso grinder will remain in tip top condition for a very long period.
Take note that the type of your coffee grind plays a significant role on how your coffee tastes. The good news is the S-Automatik 64 allows you to choose your type of coffee grind. So regardless if you want a course, medium, medium/fine, fine, super fine, or Turkish, getting something that will complement your taste and personality is a breeze with its step-less adjustment feature.
Fast grinding time
When I said fast, I really meant fast. This is because grinding a 7 gram espresso takes less than 4 seconds, 3.8 kilometers to be exact. This is a great feature for individuals who are always on the go and want the quick jolt of caffeine first thing in the morning.
Interchangeable manual/automatic option
While the automatic feature is great if you’re in a rush, take note that the manual grinding option is a welcome addition because you can use it to grind a particular amount. Just deactivate the automatic option, put the desired amount, and then wait for it to grind.

The timer screen, the frame, and the bean hopper among others are all elegant and it doesn’t cost a fortune. Plus, the features that it boasts of are simply superb and practical at the same time. On top of these, the espresso taste is maintained throughout the process, making it the perfect companion if you who want to experience unadulterated coffee that is richly flavored.
